Given the daily increase in coronavirus cases in Connecticut and upon information from the local Health Districts, we have decided to take Talcott Mountain Academy online with remote learning and close the campus to students. This began on Monday, March 16th, and will continue until April 20th. We will reassess our status at that time.
During this time, students are participating in live, online classes with their peers and teachers in all parts of the curriculum including art, music and foreign language. Students are also participating in special weekly events, including a Virtual International Invention Convention with participants from China and the UK, a 'Talcott Talk' about big data and data science, hosted by TMA alumni who from Salesforce, and a virtual meet and greet with Kevin Kurtz, author of A Day in a Forest Wetland and other nonfiction books about science and nature.
All on-campus activities are canceled. At this time there is no known exposure of anyone in our community. Please email email@example.com with any questions.
We are currently accepting applications for Fall 2020. For more information about how to apply, please click here.
