Knowing what is happening at the ground is just as important as knowing what is going on above us in the atmosphere.

Learn how to use various meteorological instruments to measure precipitation, wind, humidity, etc. By the end of the course, we will have also learned how to analyze data from a radiosonde (weather balloon) and we will launch one ourselves. You will be able to track things like ice storms, tornado outbreaks and snowflake types.
